today e accused me of being a scrooge and i think he might be right. i am more than a little bah humbuggy about this holiday season. i assume it's for the same reasons that i've had the last few years which basically boils down to the cultural rules that say that we have to exchange gifts...any gift. we just trade cash. i long for it to be a simpler holiday without all the expecations. that's all.
but anyway i'm trying to get in the spirit and i've been debating on what to do about a tree. and whether to send out some christmas cards. i've decided if i see you within a couple of weeks of christmas or give you a present...you don't get a card. and well that doesn't leave many folks. but anyway, i was perusing etsy this evening pondering cards and here are some of my favorites.
